As the aircraft makes its way through the mass of clouds on its final approach, ribbons of blue green waters of the Caribbean Sea can be seen crashing against the rocks, cascading into foamy patterns set off by the brilliant rays of the sun, mimicking fireworks as though creating a gala entry saying “Welcome”.
The soothing sea breeze awaits you saying ‘hello’ as you exit the aircraft, then dances along with golden rays of the sun as you make your way towards the terminal building, a form of welcome no other in the world, a welcome to Tobago “The Capital of Paradise”.
During one‘s brief stay at Crown Point, one will experience a warmth and friendliness that washes away the tension of the long hours of travel. The locals are eager to assist, especially the local vendors who all sit and chat while peddling their homemade delicacies. Passers by are clad in swim suits armed with beach bags and sun tan lotion as they make their way to one of the many nearby beaches, all cares and worries seem to disappear and life itself seems to have slowed down a bit. A journey through heaven awaits……………
