Common application errors
Please help us to help you by ensuring these common application errors are avoided.
Security
The ID used on the application form should match the ID used for the ID badge application.
Full pass applications
- The CRC should be the same as the application address. This is unless it is the requesting company’s address registered with us or the designated agent for which we have been advised. If the applicant has recently moved the CRC issue date must be before the move date. This needs to be shown on the application.
What are the different pass zones?
D badges have different colours and numbers. These represent various levels of access around the airport. See the diagram below for what each colour and level means.

Check and Challenge
Do not be afraid to ask someone where their ID badge is if it’s not being displayed. It is also OK to challenge what they are doing in secured areas if their movements look suspicious.
Changes to your access requirements
Requests for changes of access requirements should be requested by your company this will be processed by the Identification and Access (IACO) Control Office once it is received
Authorised signatories must provide written authorisation of any changes and where a physical change is required on an ID badge, the ID badge holder will need an appointment to attend the IACO.
What happens if an ID pass is lost or stolen?
Please call the Identification and Access Control Office if a pass is lost or stolen on (868) 669 2288 ext. 4101 or email passoffice@tntairports.com so the pass can be stopped. If it is outside of our opening hours please call 07795 318865
To get a new card, the following must be submitted:
- Letter of request from your employer signed by a signatory
- A lost document report from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service
- An affidavit from the a Commissioner of Affidavit
What happens when a passholder's details change?
The Identification and Access Control Office must be told of any changes to an individual’s badge or ID record. A letter of request signed by an authorised signatory should be submitted for any of the following reasons:
- change of appearance
- company name or logo change
- change of name or job title
- change of home address or telephone number.
How do I get staff parking?
The Identification and Access Control Office issues staff car parking. The following are to be submitted:
- Letter of request signed by an authorised signatory
- Copy of Certificate of Insurance
- A copy of a valid Drivers’ Licences
